hey if a company only gives a warranty for 1 year should they have to extend it if the guitar was built wrong in the first place. I have a guitar I wont mention who made it because im dealing with them now on getting it fixed, but the floyd posts are too forward. the saddles are so far back i cant use the fine tuners, because they hit the bend in the base plate. shouldnt they redo the posts or use another body that actually correct.

Re: warrantys
they told me to send the guitar back & they will call me to discuss what is & isnt covered by warranty. I got a little pissy with him on the phone & it seems they are going to do the right thing. i explained there is no reason why a $1500+ plain jane guitar should be as screwed up as this one. & based on there/ his reputation as a builder i thought it was BS that he even let a guitar with his name on the headstock even shipped out with the flaws this guitar has. GOOD thing is i think i may have them add a graphic.

Re: warrantys
Not really i played it for a month or so, then put it away. When i originally noticed a problem i contacted the dealer, & they were A**holes, 2 days after i got it. so i stuck it in the case & it sat with the guitars i dont really play. I figured it wasnt such a big deal since It worked for me I dont lock the OFR nut & dont really use the bar or fine tuners. Recently i started playing it again & it just pissed me off that a $1500+ guitar wasnt right. Honestly thats really the ONLY 2 things i have on my side HIS REPUTATION & the price.
