Does anyone own or played the "redheaded stepchild" of Gibson "The WRC"? I seldom ever see one for sale or for that matter ever brought up in a topic. i guess i'm going to be a proud owner of one in a few day (EBAY). I was wondering if anybody had words of advice on it. Like "man are you lucky" or "man your a fool". Would it be a good investment? Swap the PU's right away..... thanks for any input

Hey Charvel, are we married to the same woman lol
Actually, my wife is really cool with my obsessions.....she supports my habits even though she doesn't know the difference between a Hondo II and a Jackson USA.
It is cool.

Re: WRC GIBSON????
there are a few different things to look for. does your say WRC or WC on the headstock. some of the earliest ones had a charvel logo on headstock. there are some that are part of a limited showcase edition run of 250 guitars, these have EMGs & a kahler. there is also a setneck version called the SR-71 also limited to 250 customshop made guitars. supposedly they were only offered in yellow & vintage white, ive seen a red one but i dont know if it was a re-fin. they are nice guitars but dont seem to have resale value & IMO the early BCRich ST-3s(also designed by Wayne Charvel) are as good or better & usually alot cheaper.
