Re: Picture of Mustaine\'s new ESP DV8 on ESP\'s website

I know that this has been said many times before, but I guess the realisation only struck me last night. Does Jackson have any "Big Hitter" endorsees? Not to detract from those who are, I'm sure they're all WAY more talented than I am, but the few that I've heard of are hardly "Movers and Shakers". I mean, have you heard the stuff that Def Leppard is turning out these days? We all know who makes the best rock guitars in the World, but it's a bit of a shame when we have to say "All the best artists USED to play Jackson"
Just my little lament, please don't be offended by my ignorance of the current endorsee line-up!

Dave was the only guy aside from Scott Ian that had any real name recognition and got biz for the Custom Shop.
          <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">WRONG - Guy named Phil comes to mind.

For Fender to shell out the kind of $$ to a non-touring, non-recording rock star that Dave was demanding was not good business. The Y2KV was destined to be discontinued, just like all the other Dave Mustaine Sig models.

Slang term for a heroin package. It's based on the old expression to be behind the 8-ball, or in a bad situation.

Actually, I thought that "eight ball" was a crack reference. I'm no drug expert, though. Other than a little herb back in the day and one unsatisfying snort of "krell" in 1989, I'm basically just a good old beer swiller...
