Its probably glued in, using the screws from the brige & stopbar also.... and a band around the edge of the body.

Damn. I kinda want to know becouse if I buy it I would want to paint the diamond plate black. But then again, I can find a used KE-3 and send it for a custom job. Any of you have a used KE-3 for sale?

Every diamond plated guitar I've ever seen had the plate screwed in to the body...so chances are....

Yeah. I like the EX-351 becouse its string-thru/set-net, but the KE-3 looks so good! Too bad it has a FR.

Bah, just get one of those diamond plate KE2 string throughs from Jason and be done with it!

I played one a while ago. It has screws holding on the diamond plate. Its like a giant pickguard. I personally thought it looked like crap. Like it was made of plastic or something. It felt cool to hold, like a real guitar, but it just looked like a toy, and i couldn't get past the plastic look. Definately a try before you buy type of thing.

Stuka: I wish I had the money. I'd like a KE-3 if it came with the tunamatic, becouse I've about had it with FR! Do you know IF BY ANY CHANCE anyone is selling a KE-3 or any KE for less than $400? (String thru or tunamatic)

Kamo: The problem I have is that I live in Puerto Rico and well there isn't much chance of seeing ESP's in here. IF I buy the EX-351D I'm going to chance the chrome plated body and I'm going to put a metal plate that looks like the real thing but in black.
