yeppers, i finally got off of my butt... and sat back down at the computer, and bought the JB TB-4, and a Hot Rails ^.^ Woohoo! can't wait till they come in!
My dad's friend brought in his basswood strat, and it had the JB in it, and i played it through my bass amp with my POD on it, and i was blown away at how much better it sounded o.O After that, i couldn't stand the muddyness of my Ibanez Powersound stocks lol. Soooooo ya, got one of those.
I played an SL3, and that's where i got the hotrail idea. I wasn't sure though, cuz i didn't know if the soloist was made from basswood, maple, or whatever, so i looked around some more, and lucky me, found another Ibanez RG270 *same as my 250DX, only purple, and without a pickguard*, and it had a Hotrails in it. So i tried it out, and yep, just what i wanted
Soooooooo yep! I think i made a smart choice ^.^ Anyone know if they'll sound good together blended? *gonna have to look up some more diagrams*
