Question On Ernie Ball Bass

Whats the diffrence between the sterling and stingray.. Like the sterling has a 3-way switch. Thats like the only diffrene I see and The pots are body mounted vs. the medal plate. If you where going to get a bass what would you go with? Sterling or Stingray?????

The Sterling is a smaller body. Like the Jazz bass to the P bass. Its narrower than the Stingray. Both are great basses and you can get the three band eq on either. Oh plus the Sterling has a narrower nut too. but not by much.
