• Schecter Tele's "Eye Candy"

Here's a couple of my Schecters. The Burst was made for a friend of Tom Anderson's by TA in 1980. One-piece Mahogany body, one-piece Maple neck, Brazilian board w/clay dot inlay. It also has the rare optioned tilted neck angle so the stoptail sets up right. The gold one is at GMW as we speak for a complete refin {Sonic Blue}, with a brass hardtail string-thru, 1 vol., toggle moved to the tone control spot, no pickguard. They're both incredible instruments.

Those are beautiful guitars. Especially the goldtop! Schecter rules.

Wow....great guitars. That iced tea burst is awesome. I would like to try an old schecter some day but they are so hard to find in my opinion...Did they all have the double strap buttons on the bottom?

Do you have any more Schecters that you can share pics of?

Those are stunning guitars. I would love to score a nice older Schecter tele or strat. Those were great guitars.

The gold Schecter was sprayed all gold {with a prized small batch of the original 1950's Gibson bronze powdered pigment} front/sides/back/back of neck in 1980 to resemble {finish-wise anyway} a 1955 all gold Les Paul. Check out the headstock!

I special ordered this one in 84...ebony board, EMG's, one-piece Mahogany body. My only regret was the behind the nut string-lock...I now despise them!

What kinda Trem is that? Is it a Kahler? It doesn`t look like the Pro or Flatmount? Thanks-Jack.

I hate those trems. I have one on one of my old schecters. I don't use it. I will try and post pics of my two tomorrow. Killer guitars.

Sweet thread! I love those old Schecter strats. I got lucky with mine it came with a nice Schaller Floyd on it! Now if it were just H\S\S or even better H/H. Who know about the Serial Numbers?
