• "Dot in Diamond" inlays

Hi,
does anyone have (close-up) pictures of those abalone-dots embedded in mother of pearl-diamonds inlays? The best pic I have of those is the one of the Kramer on the front cover of Speed Mechanics

that there be a kramer! (probably a stagemaster) I'd love one of those neckthrough american models, they don't seem to be too easy to find; they're around but not as common as USA jacksons (on places like ebay, that is)

Wow, I never saw a Kramer like that before. I wonder why they didn`t sell well, they look sweet, but I wonder what the neck profile is like? When were these puppies made? Jack.

The Kramer Stagemaster. Available as a flatop or archtop. Neckthough, Maple body, bound neck ebony board, Duncans and OFR trems. About 4 different models.

Made between 87-90

Very similar to a soloist. They are excellent guitars.

That one and the Nightswan are probably the sweetest Kramers, in my book anyway.

Man the whole Maple Body thing just turned me off a little, can you say bright sounding Man, they could have at least used Alder or Basswood, but Maple What are these going for used, if I can find one? Jack.

Re: "Dot in Diamond" inlays

The Maple spec I got from a 1990 flyer.

Earlier ones *may* have been mahogany, like most of Kramers high end stuff.

I'm not sure on this one so if you want the skinny, check the KramerForum.

I do know that a Stagemaster in very-good condition, depending on model can fetch $700-$1000

I think $600.00 is around the bottom of the barrel price.

It's like buyinbg a USA Vandenburg.. Not many people want em, but those that do.. want em alot!

Go to
www.vintagekramer.com

You'll find everything you need to know about any Kramer.

Back to the original question... I think someone on here posted not too long ago about getting a Jackson Infinity. I believe that had the diamond MOP/Abalone inlays.
