In my experience, Jacksons and ESPs play quite a bit different--ESP necks and frets are turned out differently. It just comes down to which you prefer.Comment

At NAMM I played a TON of ESPs. Beautiful guitars but the necks felt completely different than the Jacksons. I prefer Jackson for playability (but then again I'm real picky about necks...can't stand Soloist necks). I love the RR and KV necks.Comment

when i went to sam ash i tried a ec 1000 i think the red one with 81's the hardware looks like a toy when i play one i feel like its an off name thing. i first thought they were like silvertone thing i havent tried the esp series yet though.thats y im askin who makes a better qulaity guitarComment
