  • 1972 Gibson ES325 TD

I just picked one up. I will be receiving it today. It is one of the few types of guitars I have never owned but always wanted to. Semi-hollow, mini hums, dot neck, etc... they always sound great whether clean or distorted. It is very similar to a 335. Any players here? What strings work the best or are they just standard electric strings?

Also, I just bought a 2001 Carvin DC120 12 string. Translucent crimson red with an, ebony board, MOP blocks, hum/hum, active electronics, mohagony body with a maple neck, gold hardware, locking sperzels. It is an outstanding beautiful guitar in both fit and finish and tone. Sounds like everything from a Ric to a Dano to a Gibson ES1275. Man... Carvin makes nice stuff. I have been a player for years and I am constantly impressed.
Working...
