• Tradition Guitars??

Our local shop just got a shipment of them in and I was wondering if anyone here has heard of/played one of these guitars? The one I looked at had a beautiful natural finish and was shaped pretty much like Ibanez's S series, except both horns had cutaways.Any info would be greatly appreciated!! THANKS!

Re: Tradition Guitars??

I've never actually seen or played a Tradition guitar, but I know that Michael Angelo used to play them before he started selling Deans. He plays a real fine looking one on his "Speed Kills" instructional DVD. I'd seriously check them out if they were in my local shop.

Check 'em out and let us know what you think!

Re: Tradition Guitars??

I have dealt quite a bit with tradition.. VERY good stuff.
I think their Strats are the best deal going for the money on the market today.
I know their Strats utilize Alder bodies, and the pickups are Alnico magnets-Good stuff.. I LOVE their pickups as they sound very stratish and quacky-the way a Strat should sound.
The frets are real Dunlop wires and the rosewood is Brazilain-not that cheap a$$ korean crap you see on so many entry level guitars.
I played one of the PRS looking guitars and it was equally impressive. The pickups were surprisingly useful and I don't think I would even replace them if I ever bought that guitar.

The only bummer about the Tradition stuff is the neck pocket width is closer to a jackson then a Fender so if you plan on replacing the neck with a Warmoth or Fender, you'll have to shim it..
