Because I have several........ (I just wanted to use that icon, because I never have )

From what I can tell Larrivee did some neck through and prototype bolt-on guitars. I have not seen or heard any evidence that Larrivee was a major supplier. (Tom Anderson and PRS built some Kramers too. )

If you are in town for NAMM you should come by the Kramer Konvention a couple of us guys are hosting. Going to be a major "throw down"!

personally, i like the earlier kramer necks...the 81-83 strat and classic head shaped necks....they are bigger than the banana ones which i found to thin for me.......none of the japanese kramers(post banana) ever felt special or anything...kinda generic

How could you tell they were made in Japan?

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I'm faily certain that Larrivee built a neck-through Vanguard.

I'm buying it after checking it out, exact same dimensions as the later RR styled Kramer Vanguard, original paint (from what I and my guitar tech can tell.. Kahler equipped, chrome hardware. Pink with old stlye Black Kramer Block logo.

It came with a Larrivee Paul Dean model, and can confirm Larrivee built it.. the logo and the paint show no signs of tampering that anyone who's seen it can tell...

The only other thing I can think of is perhaps it was an employee project... and why would someone "fake" a Kramer logo.. at least on lesser known model..

Kramer Vanguard = Larrivee Voodoo
Since neither are made in India, they are good guitars and not garbage...........

Holy $hit, you're right Eric!!! This is the first time in 18 years I've seen a Japanese banana headstock USA Kramer:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=41438

Just checkout the pics. A banana headstock, small block capital letters Kramer logo with the classic ESP area on the back of the neck where the 2 screws hold the locking nut on.
