Ok, before I make the phone calls and such, I need to find out from someone who has dealt w/ GMW about body styles. I am really digging the ESP "F" shape and I want it to be custom made for me into a 7 string. Will Lee be able to just look at a pic and figure out how to build it, or am I going to have to supply him w/ a sample axe so he can get the shape down. Same goes with the headstock. I have plenty of pics, but do I need anything else? [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

Send him an email and ask directly. They are pretty knowledgable about different body styles and whatnot, but for different reasons they won't necessarily build every shape out there. Best thing to do is ask the man himself.

I agree call him. Lee is one of the most professional cats around. He is working on a guitar for me at the moment, my own tribute to Lynch I guess. Sometimes I feel bad because I call with all these stupid questions but he is always happy to talk about guitars. My GMW will be done next month and I can't wait to see it. The waiting is the hardest part. You can't go wrong just calling and shooting the breeze with him about an order you would like to place.Comment
