True again. The early 1990's Jackson Pro Japanese imports were so good, Jackson cancelled them as a threat to the sales of the US models, I've played a couple, and they really are the next-best thing to a US model (especially the early 1990's Japanese pro Rhoads).

Whoops.

Well, what ESP/LTD is doing is not any different in comparison to Gibson/Epiphone and Fender/Squire are already doing. Fender and Gibson offer some pretty limited color options at times unless you wish to custom.

Some LTD's are worth the 75% off clearance price @ musicians friend IMO, but I have a M-350 that just sits in the case since I bought it for 300.00, only played a few times. Personally, I find the binding material butt ugly.
