  • Cool Find I think...

    I was browsing the parts bin at my local shop hook-up..this guy gets the coolest parts in the worls Old Charvel Jackson etc., well he had a Warmoth S head neck that was 24 frets, but it did not have the goofy fretoard overhang. When did Warmoth make these?, no Fender Lic. either burned on the heel, Just the Turtle and Warmoth name, Cool Flamed neck

    Those necks are 24.75" scale length. I emailed Gregg Stewart from Warmoth about it like a month ago when I had a question about possibly putting together a 24-fret Flying V. He said those necks are not listed on their site, and they charge an extra $50 to have the body short-scaled.

    If you want their regular 25.5" 24-fret neck with the overhang, they charge $50 to have the neck pup repositioned.

      <font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">So, they will make a 25.5", 24 fret neck though? Will it fit a dinky body? It only has a bridge pick up.
