Wanted to share these photos with you guys....

These are my 2 of only 50 made limited edition Dean DOA Cadillacs. About a year or so ago I started a thread on the Dean Forum about making a limited run of guitars just for DOA members. (Dean Owners of America) To my surprise and thrill, the idea was so popular that they actually built the guitar, and are planning on doing another version next year. Elliott Rubinson (owner of Dean Guitars) and Dean Zelinsky were kind enough to autograph #50 for me...the very last one made. Hope you like the pics. [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img]

Pete...the Marshall is an 8X10 from the mid 60's. It's the last piece of vintage Marshall stuff that I own, so therefore, I'm planning on hanging on to it. I'd eventually like to buy a head for it too..but a re-issue. Not interested in spending $3000 for a vintage plexi.

Hey Gforce1!, is it true that Dean is going to make a limited edition of the ML in silverburst? Those E'lites look Killer! They need exposoed coil black PAFs thought instead of the chrome covers! [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] Nice Pair!!!

MSGFan...yes, CrankDaddy is correct. There will be another DOA guitar for 2004. It will be an ML. But I don't think it's going to be Silverburst, because we had another DOA member who convinced Elliott to make a limited run of 12 ML's in Silverburst already. So a DOA ML in Silverburst would be sort of redundant. All we know right now is that it will be an ML. The other details are being decided upon, and will be unveiled with the prototype at the DOA 2004 meeting in Florida.

Yes, it's true they're going to do another limited edition model, and yes, it's gonna be an ML. (Basically, a 79 series import ML.)

I believe the original thought was to also make this one Silverburst, but there's currently a lot of discussion on what color it should be on the Dean forum. A lot of folks want blueburst, but that might not be an option since that's a USA-only color right now. Anybody got any suggestions?
