This actually is not all of them, but I couldn't squeeze any more into the shot comfortably. The blueburst Z and the white ML that is yellowed are both vintage.

Thanks guys! Actually my Charvels/Jacksons have been taking a back seat to these guys lately. I used Deans in the early 80's before I ever played a Jackson. (sounds like someone else here... [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] )

Dana, Did you get that Blueburst Z from Jeff Savela? He got it from me! [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] I traded him the Blueburst Z and a red Baby Z for a 1980 flame series V. Nice collection!

MSGfan...nope, I didn't get it from Jeff...but I do know him. He must have traded it off to this other Dean Forum member from whom I got it in another trade. So...it's still in the family, so to speak! [img]images/icons/smile.gif[/img] And its days of being traded are over. I'm keeping it. You're certain it's the same one? It's an '82.

Dana, all I can remember is that it had EMG's in it when Jeff got it from me and he put original Super D's in it. It also has quite a few scuff marks on the back. I belive the input jack was also non original.

dinkyjacksonman...the USA models are the Blueburst Z, the Yellow ML, the Black ML on the right side, and the white ML that is real yellowed looking. The rest are imports, but really well made. I'm trying to concentrate more on the USA's now instead of buying more imports.

MSGfan...yep, same guitar alright. It has some bad rash on the back of it. And the jackplate is brass or something...non-original.

Thanks Dan...the yellow ML is a hard one to find...at least factory yellow like this one. This one was handmade in Plant City, Florida by Ben Chafin in 1997.
