I'm not especialy into the new bolt on NJ's, but the neck thru sounds like it would be a better deal and alot of people tell me they are very good if you can find one cheap. The Widow HS has kinda grown on me and it doesn't look like a custom shop Rich is going to be all that cost effective any time soon. I figure with any import, pickups must go. Also, can an OFR be dropped in a newer NJ series? Comments please.

i think an OFR could fit but, because the new neck thru guitars have the speed loader floyd rose, you would have to replace the nut. But if you are on about the other neck thru's without the speed loader, then i think you would have no problem fitting an OFR.93 USA Soloist EDS

I've had one for two years now and it was my main guitar before I got my ESP SRC and Jackson Y2KV. It's a year 2000 in transamber that looks pretty damn stunning for an import guitar. The original BC Rich BDSM pickups were actually pretty good for stock pu's, but I went and changed the bridge pickup to a dimebucker and turned the guitar into a total metal machine. The BC Rich licensed Floyd on mine holds up pretty well to whammy abuse, but occasionally the strings will go sharp just like on any other guitar.
If you're interested I had it posted in the classifed a few weeks ago for $475, but I'm willing to bring the price down a bit since I need to sell it to make room for another guitar I just bought. Email me at [email protected] and I'll fill you in.
