Getting a Warmoth... What do I need?

I've got an old pointed charvel neck (logo is gone), and I'm planning on getting V-2 (the rhoads copy) body from warmoth http://www.warmoth.com.

Is it possible to install a kill switch with a mini toggle? One Hum, TB-4, and one volume.

So, What do I need apart from this:

And what Jack should I get?

How much of the guitar are they willing to put together before they send it?

ide check the Charvel neck heal width some of them were not the standard 2 3/16"

I purchased an Explorer body from them a while back. It was routed for the pickup, Floyd, controls, and where I wanted the input jack. No hardware installed. Give 'em a call, doesn't hurt to ask.

I've picked up a set of tuners from them a while back.

What I've always wondered is if they sell necks and they sell bodies why not have an option to bolt of glue in the neck if your buying both from them. I would totally make a Wolfgang copy with a set neck!

I don't know if they will do a Jackson-style jack location (upper wing edge) or if you have to choose between Strat-style (on the top) or Gibson-style (on the lower edge or inside lower horn edge). I'd definitely ask them about it and include a photo for reference.

And yes, you can have a two-way mini toggle act as a kill switch, but you have to decide if you want to split the hum. If so, then you'll need a 3-way mini toggle (On/Off/On) and use the center (Off) as the Kill.

I'd wire it with a push-pull knob for splitting and the mini-toggle for On/Off.

i'd ask them many many questions; they're pretty helpful.

as far as a mini switch to be used as a kill switch, just get a push pull pot and connect it so that when you lift the knob up, it kills it. kinda james bond-y, no?

i don't believe that they're gonna do much of your assembly, but i'd be willing to help you out if you need it. also know that the v2 body is not just like a rhoads.

Questions it is! I'll probably wait 'til december before I call them. Haven't got that much money right now, and the $ I have left will be used to get the missingfor my newly purchased Rhoads Pro. Yellow, Black bevels and utpdated to Duncans. 1990 model.

I'll post here when I have spoken to them and the deal is closed. Wish me luck.
