Agreed. That guy thinks entirely too highly of them

Mint condition or not, I can buy a USA-made Jackson or two Custom Shop Jacksons for what he's asking for a lot of those. Heck, I can snag a USA Custom Ash Dinky for slightly more than his cheapest beater import

I do not know Ibanez guitars very well, but I do know the wizard necks are way to THIN for me. Ok,my question is: Which Ibanez has the thicker rounder neck profile, is it the JEM? I would like to play one if it is. Thanks-Jack.

Newc, why don't you just carve the horns a little pointier on your DK2? You could also drill for a monkey grip while you're at it, maybe dig out some more wood behind the trem for the lion's claw.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Some of the Jems have the wizard profile neck, some don't. Off the top of my head the 7DBK, 7PBK, 90HAM, 777VDY, and the DNA swirl all have Wizard necks. The other Jem models all have the 'JEM' neck profile which isn't as narrow. There are still differences between models in the 'JEM' neck profile, but overall its thicker than the wizard necks.

Actually I saw a pink one for $750 BIN with case on Ebay that was listed in the wrong section (Other Guitars) and kinda hoped to score it cheap and resell it for over $1000

Newc, why do you suddenly want an Ibanez Jem?

Don't get me wrong, I played one of the first LNGs when they came out - a friend of mine bought one that was 6 weeks old - and it was signed by Vai (forget the number, just over 100), and it did play great. I'd like to have one someday, but there's sooooooooooo many Jacksons out there

If you can find a Talman model, those have a very nice neck. Kinda Strattish/round. Don't know who they stole that from
