Accidently hit the wrong button. I am referring to this posting . Could the admins please be kind enough to move my posting there.
If it was me I would have tried harder to come with the cash. I can understand that you are low on cash, hell I have been unemployed since March, believe me I know what if feels like.
Still I would have sold something or borrowed some cash, just for investment purposes. I am sure that the last place that any of us want to see our guitars is in a pawn shop, but look at it as a once in a lifetime opportunity. If it was a charvel holy grail, I am sure that you would have moved mountains. The odd thing is, is that this guitar would've been worth about as much if not more.
It was very honerable of you to advise the lady, but once she didn't believe you maybe you should worked a deal out with her to hold it until you could get some cash, maybe even offered a litte more for here troubles. Hey you could've put some bread in your pocket and bought mama a new pair of shoes.
