If it had a maple board, I'd go with black, but gold tuners don't look right on a natural maple or vintage/orange head.
Black with a dark rosewood/ebony board makes the color scheme taper to a point ending at the head, and gold tuners at the end of that point will actually look oversized and gaudy.
I'd say matching purple flamed head or a dark solid purple, or a purple pearl (dark like the darkest part of the body's flame).
