Re: Who makes a nice Les paul copy?

get a prs tremonti se which i've seen for $350 on ebay w/ bag. they are pretty damn good stock. and if you want to make it even better, add some burstbuckers into it.

i also agree w/ the others on the tokai and heritage.

i also had an epiphone le sparkle top les paul that was pretty awesome. i think the epi stuff is hit or miss (mostly miss), but if you look hard enough, you can score a decent piece.

Forgot to mention that a friend of mine in high school had one of the lawsuit Ibanez Les Paul copies. That thing was really nice, but Heavy, over 20 lbs I'm sure. If you could find one cheap it would be a good option.

Cool answer about the Tremonti Se, anyone know much else about them?

Also, The Agiles really do get mucho kudos on Harmony Central.

I used to have an Epi Quilted top, (A mars special model), but it never felt very nice.

The "product of the day" seems to change like socks. I've noiced ALOT of Agile strings too, but have you heard much of them BEFORE they were going out of business? Nope. I think people get under the false impression that just because they get sued that the value is going up or that they had something REALLY special to begin with. I don't think that's the case here...

But I could be WAY off. That said, to me it's just another knock-off guitar that made the "flavor of the day" club.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I don't know how heavy it was exactly, all I know is that it felt damn heavy. The heaviest guitar I've ever played, but I'm used to start shaped guitars. The guy who owned it thought it was good for strengthening his back.

The ESP ltd EC-1000 is not bad if you can find a good deal.
