    I don't believe Agile is "going out of business." Agile is just one of the name brands Rondo uses — Essex, Brice, Agile — they're all Rondo. They've modified the LP shape a little bit (rounded the horn a bit is all I can tell) and no longer call the models "LP," but they're still making them.

    I got a black Sparkle Top LP4000 a while back. Pretty nice for $250. Probably as good as my "real" 70's Gibson LP Standard, if a little heavier (the more dense the Mahogany, the cheaper it is, generally speaking). Pickups were absolute garbage, though. Squealed like a horny sow! But a set of Dimarzios fixed that. The 2800 model supposedly has better pickups.

      Rondo Music sucks, though! I've been there. We Jersey boys like to refer to it as Rondouche. [img]graemlins/laugh.gif[/img]
