• Gibson limited editons...

Gibson pretty much wins my vote for producing the stupidest limited edition guitars ever:

http://www.gibson.com/products/custo...els/hummer.htm

I own a few older les pauls that are amazing, but they really have become a pathetic joke. I would have loved to been a fly on the wall when they brainstormed this one.

The Hummer model, huh? Well I never really liked the Les Pauls, just not right for my style of music. However, if there is a hummer involved... (inuendo inserted here)

Gibson is approached by alot of manufacturers to produce special models. I think the hummer is cool, although not as cool as the Corvette models that GM has commissioned...........The worst was the Harley............

i thought the corvette LPs werent too bad but the SG was F-ugly.
i still wish i had my LTD ED. SG with black hardware & EMGs, from the late 80's i had a 3 pickup model in blue only options were blue or red. & i think the 2 pickup models was the same way.
