• ESP KH2

Anybody have one and what do you think of it? I just picked up a mint used one for half of what a new one would have cost. I think it is awesome! It quickly has become one of my favorites along with my SL2H. Funny it was between this guitar and my 3mo old SL2H when I was looking a while ago but I couldn't find a ESP dealer locally who had any. I wasn't about to shell out $1500.00 for something I had never played. I'm still glad I bought the SL2H over this guitar but for the price and condition I couldn't pass it up. Now I have both and my wife didn't kill me yet.

      Re: ESP KH2

My unlce has one and I didn't like it just because it is not my style. But I suppose at half the price it would be ok. I bought a Jackson DXMG and I prefer it to the KH2, but that is just my opinion. I don't really like extra jumbo frets. If someone would correct me if I am wrong but I did an anology of the DXMG and the KH2. Simple facts as they are both made in Japan, one is poplar and the other is alder, both have rosewood boards. The KH2 has an OFR though. Pickups didn't matter because I already had an EMG 85 and an EMG 60 on hand to put it in. Actually the first day I got my DXMG I had it apart, putting more springs in the trem cavity, changing the pickups, and putting some Dunlop strap loks.
