Not at all. Look at the hole compared to the frets - very tiny. You'd have to palm the entire heel to notice it, and even then your hands would be too small to be playing guitar

It's a recessed bolt and the hole is not big at all.

I have an older neck that you have to take off to adjust. Luckily it hasnt needed alot of adjustment over the years. I also just got a new one but I got it with warmoth features but vintage construction (truss rod at headstock. skunk stripe down the back} It is incredible put it on a Clapton strat. I think its the best strat Ive ever played.

Alot of Warmoths "new" technology (?) is a direct result of having their butts kicked by their former employees new company:

          http://www.usacustomguitars.com

Tommy Rosemond is one of the all time class acts in the music biz - his quality smokes Warmoths and the customer service is off the scale...I've built three guitars from his parts and they are as nice as my Anderson hardtail...

Since we are talking Warmoth necks, what neck profile is closest to a Jackson Soloist and a Carvin DC200 neck shape?

Cuz well, if your not playing a Jackson, it better be a Carvin right.

Here's a couple of small pics of the device, but I couldn't find anything where it was actually installed.

I went with the SS steel frets too. They are fantastic.
