Well, I tried to put the AT-1 neck on it, but the holes won't line up unless I plug and redrill, but then I don't know if the intonation will even be right because Jackson doesn't follow the same heel specs that Warmoth/Fender do - if the butt is too long I've toasted the neck - or I could shave the end of the neck pocket, but then if it's off I've toasted the body

So I guess I'll go with the baritone neck - should be interesting, and besides, the extra-longness of the neck kinda fits the Star body

Now I just need one of those old non-fine-tuning/non-locking-nut Floyds and some Sperzels

I went for a personality transplant, and they had a 2-for-1 special

Which means I changed my mind - I put the AT-1 neck on it (drill new holes and intonation be damned! )
Actually it intonates just fine - had to work the neck into the heel a bit to get it seated but it's there

Birdseye's going on a black Model 2 2-hum (modded)body
If I can just find some white or double-creme pickups

I also need a black&white Distortion & JB for the Star

Never been a fan of the AT-1 neck, but i'll have to agree with Chuck on this one, it does look killer now that it's a done deal! Who woulda thought!
