• New Kramers...

yeah, i'm a newbe so i don't know if you guys have talked abou these yet.

I now have 3 of the new kramers. I am very impressed. Especially the barettas. They are like asian soloists that come in cracked colors. I have a cracked white baretta and a cracked green baretta 5 string bass. the bass for $200 and the guitar for under 3. They RULE motha ****a!!! Anything that is even in the range of these are at least 600-700, AT LEAST! They are awesome. My other one is a seven string. It's really nice. it's no ibanez universe or anything (even thought mine has the same pickups ) but it rocks. I like it better than the other ibanez's under, idk 600.

yeah, do any of you guys have any??? share or die... or you can just click the back button and ignore me.

You talkin' about the MusicYo Kramers? I hear good things about them!

We honestly don't talk about the MusicYo Kramers all that much, despite my interest in them. I'd really like to find out more and why they're so inexpensive.

i love the looks of them, and if they are as good as their prices, I may jump at 1 or 2 or 3, maybe start off with the $300 Baretta. Jack.

Re: New Kramers...

The crappy finish and low build quality are why. A friend of mine bought one of the neckthrus a while back and I had the chance to check it out. The neck/body joint is a bit harsh for my taste. The neck is pretty narrow, but the edges are a bit sharper than I like. That will disappear with age though. They don't sound bad, and they could play a LOT worse. They're not particularly good guitars, but they're not bad either. I don't think there's a cheaper neckthru out there and they would make the perfect platform for some Newcensteinian mods.

I didn`t know that BM. Hmm, which model did you play, the $300 tyopes or the $600-700 ones? Jack.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">Well, they're made in Korea with lesser hardware.
And they are in dire need of a proper setup when you get'em. But if you want a cheap new neck-through there's really no competition. Sometimes the Baretta 404s show up on the Bay for ridiculous $$, like $80 - 200. I know Greg Crowe is selling one for around 2 bills.

It was the $300 variety. I haven't tried the more expensive ones yet.
