Yep, the finish is transparent. The body is swamp ash. I can't fingure out which model Duncan are the middle/neck pickups. I can't find a picture on their site that matches. I believe the bridge is a Custom 5.

If you really LOVE the guitar, but wish the neck was a bit different profile, you can check with Lee at GMW...they might be able to reshape it for you some, especially since it's a bolt-on. My guess is, it wouldn't cost a whole lot to have it done, if they can and will do it, and might be worth it to make the guitar "perfect" for you.
