I have an RG 7620 that I picked up for $200 with UV1000C case! Granted it was beat up, but the frets were nearly perfect and now that I've worked on it & cleaned it up it's pretty nice. I also have a 2000 model Universe, very nice but not something I'd take out of the house, that's why I bought the RG. I also tried out an RG 1527 but sent it back f0r refund. IT WAS NICE, yes. But I'm still not sold the Edge Pro is better than the LoPro Edge. The finish on the 1527 was cool. The maroon on my 7620 is kinda yucky, doesn't do anything for me. I'll probably paint it black sometime.
