the truth of the matter in this whole debate is that most guitar companies farm out to other shops.....there is one company in northern california(i forget the name) that makes 90% of the necks for the guitar industry....most places just assemble guitars, very few are doing the fabrication...even fender gets bodies supplied from elsewhere....there is no hollier than thou guitar company doing everything themselves 100%....id even speculate that a lot of "usa" guitars start off in asia.....you think a small shop with a handfull of employees can produce hundreds of guitars a month and have a line up that includes japan made, usa made and a custom shop?
