Thank you, Bros!!! It was brand new when I bought it. When I was young and dumb I cut around the pickup screws so I could put the bezels on. Can't believe I did that. Also had newer Schaller machines on it for awhile. Now it has Schaller "Vintage" machines on it.

I dunno Stuka!,
A friend of mine owns a white Gibson Vee just like yours but with small blocks. It's without a doubt original! I just can't remember the age of it. I've also seen other Gibsons with small blocks but they all seem to have a white (aged creme) finish!
Schenker's original Gibson Vees were painted for him with the black and white graffic.

I knew it!!
I thought they were very rare and were only made for a year or two. I talked to my friend the other day and he said his is a`79. He also told me he picked up a Greco Vee copy like his Gibson at a guitar show awhile back. I kept tring to think of what`80's Metal bands I saw playing the block Vees and finally remembered that Carlos from Quiet Riot played one!! I wonder if Gibson has or will make a reissue of the block Vee?

Stuka, that Super Distortion looks great in there! I am having GMW do a Schenker replica like this one:

When Lee asked me what pickups I wanted in it, I told him Super Distortions and he laughed.
Finally settled on Duncan Custom in the bridge & 59 in the neck. I kinda wished I would have had the DP-100s put in there, though.
