    Fritz, that is gonna be cool. I also asked Lee if he would do that job on mine, but the price was high. (adding block inlays and refretting) Plus the paint job. I can't remember the price he gave me. I was gonna get it done, then Lee emailed me and said he would need another $75 to strip off the original finish and that soured it for me.

        From what I recall, they made a very limited number of white V's in the late 70's. Probably not many in the early 80's either. Even fewer with block..but they were made obviously (the V-90). Hang onto that baby.

            Carlos Cavazo from Quiet Riot also had a Gibson V with the block inlays bros,I'll look around for a pic,Chucksplatter

                        Excellent! I used to have a black '85 V/ebony fretboard with a mean 500T at the bridge and a silver-cover PAF at the neck, some of the best tones I have ever heard came out of that guitar!
