Those 80s artist were only around for like 5 years. Metallica has been around for 20 years now. Lets make the bet 500 dollars ten years from today. The models specifically I would like to chose is the KH2 Ouija, JH2, JH3, Grynch, and the JH1 or any lawsuit ESP explorer model including the LTDs. If my ESP guitar increase in price by 1% or more I win if the prices stay the same or drop Meaning 0% or less you win. You did say that the sigs will be worthless in ten years so I based the percentages on that. If you agree to those terms bets on. By the way Black Label unless you turn out to be my long lost next of kin your chances of owning my EET FUK explorer are slim to none.

Ace, Holdsworth and Luke have been around alot longer than 5 years..........I think they were making gold albums when Kirk and Jaymz were still in diapers................

its funny i agree with AK47. these metallica limited signature editions will be collected by METALLICA COLLECTORS not guitarists in ten yrs IMO. like my buddies KISS collection he would probably give his left nut for a real gene AXE bass, or punisher bass, & he cant play. but if the players who want these guitars now realize in 10 years they were overpriced, overated & average at best then no value at all. supply demand, its that simple

I know those guys were around for more than five years but they have not been selling platinum records for more than five years and are really not very popular anymore like Metallica. They have been selling platinum records have videos on MTV to this day, were those artist you mention can barely get five minutes a week on VH1.

Hmmm, if you think Metallica have sold more albums, and remained more popular than Kiss, you need to check some facts out first. Kiss have been selling platinum albums since 1974.....You guys can think what you want, but no one ever got rich collecting guitars......
