made in USA is not always on the headstock. MOST do have it tho. the early ones do not ive had 3 ST-3's, all bolt ons, all were USA & they did NOT have made in USA on the headstock. Neal would probably be little or no help since he left BCRich in 85 (i believe) which is before they started using script logos. they did make USA neckthru ST-3's with normal horns. BTW take any info from the BCRich forum with a grain o salt. i had someone tell me ALL USAs have MADE IN USA on the headstock thats not true. USA necks dont have splices or a scarf joint, many import rich necks do. there are also different routes on imports than USAs.
Chris Olson also has/had a couple of them that DID NOT say made in USA, & they were USA made 2 of them were used at the 86 NAMM. BTW if your looking for a USA made strat type of BCRich Chris's ST-3 is real nice & hes a standup guy. i sold him my ST-3 & actually bought it back when things got better for me.

Hmmm, the one I'm looking at does not say "Made in U.S.A" and it looks like there is a joint in the neck, but it's not at the top of the neck like a Jackson, it's at the bottom of the headstock. I know absolutely nothing about BC Rich serial #s, but this one is a 4 digit if that means anything.
