I was out "walkin' the dog", but now I'm "Back for More". Just thought I would "Tell the World"

                Re: Found a GMW strat

Well, I got the guitar today. Man, Charvel necks are thin. I hadn't played one in a while. The fretwork is perfect but I'm not crazy about the pups. And then one isn't in backwards. It is just the cover. So what would you guys suggest for pickups? I thought about trying Rio Grandes. The ones in it are rather thin sounding. I'm looking for a fatter tone.

I pulled the neck pup and it is a Duncan Classic Stack (STK1SN1) and the bridge is a Duncan Custom TB-5. The bridge is ok, but the neck has to go.

What about Carvin single coil pickups? I don't know much about them, but they certainly are less expensive than SDs.

Duncan cool rail in the neck my favorite single sized pickup & its sounds pretty damn good tapped too. leave the custom in the bridge. BTW sweet guitar Mahogany is one of my favorite woods sound wise......hmm & i dont have any Ratt to add.
