I had one at home for a week and couldn't keep it in tune. The "g" string kept popping out at the nut and the tuners were crap. Those few things and the "decal" package were my only beefs...the thing played like a champ and those HZ's sounded pretty good. The neck was nice and slick and the rosewood was actually pretty dark.
I ended up buying a new LP Studio in Arctic White with an ebony board - I plan on having the Bullseye treatment done to it.

I played one at a guitar center. It played nice, the strings where dead (go figure) but it played pretty nice. Stay in tune ok.

Well, let me tell you something:
Last Saturday I was at my local guitar store in Hamburg to get my King V set up and to try out some Epi Les Pauls.
One of my buddies who now plays in my band recently got an Epi Les Paul Custom and that thing plays and sounds surprisingly good... good enough for me to get interested in getting one too.

The store had some Les Paul Standards, Studios and two ZW Customs, but no normal Custom model.
Well, I compared the Standard to the ZW model, and while I really liked the feel and sound of the Standard, the ZW model just felt... wrong!

I didn't even took it to the amp room to play it amplified because the neck didn't suit me at all... I don't know why, but it didn't fit my hands like the neck of the Les Paul Standard. The edges of the fretboard dug into my hand, I remember that. Then I played the Standard again just to get sure I wasn't dreaming, and that one still suited me well.

You'd better try that one out well before you buy it.

Oh, just for the record, here in Germany you can't find Agiles. I'd love to find one of those bargains or a similar priced good LP copy.

Steve why dont you look into a Heritage Les Paul, they're really good guitars. Infact ex-gibson factory/employees, anyway they dont hold that great of a resale value, so you can be getting a great guitar for a really good price. Also Zakk Wylde at one time I know had a Heritage Les Paul.

Steve why dont you look into a Heritage Les Paul, they're really good guitars. Infact ex-gibson factory/employees, anyway they dont hold that great of a resale value, so you can be getting a great guitar for a really good price. Also Zakk Wylde at one time I know had a Heritage Les Paul.
