Every guitar player should have at least one Fender Strat and Tele in their collection. There is nothing like them. Nice Tele's Hippi.. [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

I love my Fender. I bought it in September 2001. It's a 2001 Teal Green Metallic USA Double Fat Strat Hardtail with rosewood board! [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] I've always loved the look of the Strat shape, but don't really care that much for single coils. Luckily they made put in two humbuckers for this model!! [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] The purists think Strats shoudn't have humbuckers... screw them!! [img]graemlins/evilimages/icons/tongue.gif[/img] Though, it does have the cool super five-way switching: Position two is the two inner coils (my favorite for clean playing, almost acoustic-like, the way John Petrucci has the middle position of his guitars set up), and position four is the top coil of the neck pup.

I love em. Nice tone, cool looks, easy to mod. What's not to like that you can't fix?

Rock n roll was born on a Tele and a Strat. I was a Gibby guy for years. I hated the feel of a Strat/Tele. Then Warmoth necks, a Floyd Rose, & EVH changed that. Now, I play a wide palate of guitars and I'm appreciative to lovin a stock Strat again. It's a very unique and versatile animal. If Imitation is the highest form of flattery, Fender has been put on a pedestal.

Generally, when I think of Fender, the Strat comes to mind. I love the basic shape but an actual Fender Strat just never felt right to me. Not quite sure why, been awhile since I picked one up, maybe I should give them another shot.

I think they are really cool for Ritchie Blackmore, SRV and several others. Kind of like a Gibson SG....ain't my thing but if Tony Iommi and Angus Young like 'em...hey, rock on with your bad selves! It's all good! [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img]

i can't stand the Head, looks akward.

What i really want is a black tele, gold everything, with a Humbucker, and a floyd rose with a Jackson type head...
