Re: Check out these Warmoth Jackson-style necks

Those Jackson-Style headstocks look alot closer to the real deal than they did before! Warmouth is now doing truss rod adjustments at the headstock instead of at the heel on their Strat headstocked necks. I asked them about that a few years ago and they said they weren't going to do it, but here they are. I asked them about the Jackson headstocks too and they said they weren't exact, but very close.

So Newc............You gonna slap a yellow sharfin Jackson style neck on an up and comming Dr Newcinstein project axe? You seem like a yellow shark fin kinda guy.

I don't care for the volute on the back of the neck. Those sharks look cheezy, bad color choices.

volutes? yay! finally! don't think I've seen that on warmoth necks before, but maybe I'm wrong? maple neck with maple fretboard, pointy headstock, volute and bolt-through-neck locking nut. now, if warmoth would just start making Kramer-style pointy headstocks...

The only thing that will EVER keep me from buying ANYthing warmoth is that they REFUSE to make REAL 24 fret necks in 25 1/5 scale. They will make them with the stupid overhang for a 22 fret designed body, but never a REAL 24 fret, oh well!

This is all Ibanez with a Jackson headstock.

Think RG770 with matching colored sharkfin inlays in the neck to match body/headstock color.

Bit pricey too considering you can buy a color matched RG770 for about 450.00

Which would be a valid response if the RG was made in the USA, brand new, had a reverse Jackson headstock, and had sharkfins. In other words, if it was anything like the neck pictured.
