<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I agree... i have a custom one being made, and is actually in shipment.. been a 4 month wait uggh... they only crank out 700 or so a year.. where prs cranks out that a month, if not more.
the next charvel would have to be something that is identifiable with your - our - their youth, and down the road not be many of them around. on one hand prs meets this, but not on the other.
my last gig i had 3 andersons there, and people were more interested in the second bands ibanez.
it's the 30-40-50 somethings driving the charvel market, not kids.

This is going to sound weird, but probably Caparison. They're gaining popularity and at some point they're going to change SOMETHING that pisses people off.

I asked this same question on CC months ago and Anderson was suggested. I am thinking GMW. It is a true custom shop and will build whatever you want. If it closed the doors tomorow many would lament the loss

As much I don`t care for Ed Roman, he is right about PRS, the newer big heel models are not as nice as the pre-heel from hell ones. I have played models form the 80s all the way till now, and found that the pre-heel from hell models with brazilian rosewwod are spectacular guitars, and I prefer the smaller heel. PRS changing the heel is the part, you don`t nead that extra heel buildup there, Gibson doesn`t and Hamer doesn`t, they both play fine and no tuneing problems when set up properly. Jack.
