Re: Comparing Les Paul Standard, Custom and Classic

That's a sweet custom! With the EMG's it's just missin the bullseye paintjob.
I also like your mantle above the fireplace too...a bunch of Ozzy/Rhoads paraphernalia and an empty bottle of Jim Beam...good times!!

Yeah, that Custom is sweet! I've always liked the white one or wine red.

Thanks....Krista had the EMG's put in it for me (the Zakk Wylde set) (she is fucking awesome!!)

I have had it forever, it is on it's 4th refret job. The action is insanely low, doesn't buzz out or fret out, plays like buttah

With the EMG's it fucking rips through my rack and or into my POD.

Now, I just can't wait to get my 4-track to start recording some stuff to place in the MP3 section with it.

if you have an empty case of bud light in your fireplace/china hutch--- ya might be a redreck

if you have a singing fish above said fireplace/ china hutch--- ya might be redneck

if every picture you have ever taken in your home has a firearm somewhere in the background--- ya might be a redneck

LPC, you need to take a weekend and drive down here to the Charlotte/Matthews/Concord area. I played 3 Les Paul Customs in one weekend at Guitar Center! Then when you are done, if it's at the beginning of the month, then I can give you two some coupons to the store I work at and you can get some nice Levis or Dockers pants for real cheap!!

Also Toejam don't discount the Les Paul Studio...I didn't really like Les Pauls until I played a Studio model!

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">OK...a little clarification here.

The Bud Light box was just that, we just moved here and that box had a bunch of cables/cords/strings etc. in it, and that was the most convenient place for it at the time.

The "talking fish" is actually damn near a hundred year old Rainbow Trout that was given to my Grandfather by his brother as a gift. It originally had a piece of oval, beveled glass over the top of it, but it was broken somehow before I got it from my Uncles estate after his death.

Yes, I am a hunter and a US Marine...I kinda like guns around...makes me feel comfy That particular rifle is a Remington Classic Model chambered in .35 Whelen...basically a poor mans .338 Win Mag...especially if you handload for it. It has literally lifted a 1400 lb. Moose off his front legs after being hit in the chest with it. Mr Moose didn't have a good morning that day

So, am I a redneck? Nah...I don't think so...the wife is from Southwest "by God" Virginia. She is a card carrying redneck (but hey, ya gots to love her....big tits and is bi...what more could I ask for??
