I think these are popular these days.
Musicman uses for John Petrucii model(Mystic Dream),Kramer used to have too.
Ibanez used these for Joe Satriani 90th Hoshino Aniversary.

I think this Hamer guitar has pickups they are cartridges you can use hums or p-90sof your choice for the day.
