Accept2: That's no excuse for churning out shit and putting your name on it. The fucking Korean-built Epiphones stomp the hell out of the cheaper Gibsons in terms of quality control. There is NO reason for that to happen. When I pay $600+ for a guitar, I expect it to have frets that are nice and shiny and don't have sharp points on the end. I expect it to feel like a solid, well built guitar and not like a hacked up tree. I don't demand perfect workmanship, or any frills. I don't care at that price about ebony, binding, real MoP, high quality pots, etc. What I DO care about is that the guitar is playable the second I get it from the factory, and the cheaper Gibsons simply are not.
