Pic of a bolt-on with shaped heel?

Earlier this month somebody posted a pic of a bolt-on guitar that had a beautifully shaped heel. Unlike most bolt-ons (that have an ugly and totally unergonomic square block), this one had a smooth shape (imitating a Soloist joint); I think it used 3 bolts rather than 4.
Anybody know the thread where this was posted? Or can post the pic here?

it amazes me that more companies dont use something along the lines of the All Access Neck Joint. On all my Ibanez's it seemed like access to the upper frets was identical to on any neckthru guitar I have owned. Compared to my Wolfgang, A bolt on Ibanez feels worlds better when playing on the higher frets.

IT's not too much effort to set up your router and your neck specs so that it has a little better playability. I dont think at least!

US Masters guitars has an all access bolt joint and they are some of the highest quality guitars for the money. I love the US Masters guitars, they are very well made [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] Jack.

what's that guitar ?

i was just thinking 2day of buying a neck from ebay / warmoth
then making ( buying ) a body and sculpting the heel like that ( or like it is in warwick bass guitars )

so basically can i do it to any guitar ? ( sculpting heels ?)

what's with neck stability on 3 bolts ?
isn't it better to glue/bolt ( setneck and bolt on hehe ) it

That's a great looking heel. I would love to do that to my bolt-on, too (Kramer Focus 1000). Anyone have any experience with this type of mod who could provide advice on how you did it, how easy/hard it was, and your level of satisfaction with the result?

I fully agree with the poster above who wondered how it is that most guitar manufacturers have not caught onto doing something like this. I can't believe it, either. I think the Washburn N-series Nuno Bettencourt guitars have the smartest bolt-on neck joint that I have seen, but I am happy to see any effort at something smarter than the big-block-o-wood+steel-plate that most bolt-on guitars have.

<font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">I completely agree, that is one of the good things of ibanez: they saw that already early in the nineties and well, an ibanez plays usually pretty sweet, due to that.
