Hey guys. My name is Erik and im from the BCRBB and i was wondering what people think of b.c. rich guitars. I kinda wanted to know if it was just Fender nazi's that think BCR's are pieces of crap or if most people think so. Any opinions would be greatly appreciated.

welcome eric, and most of us here appreciate riches in many forms; be it in gold, or the bc nature.

Re: B.C. Rich guitars.
Some of the late 1980's/early 1990's imports weren't that bad to me, even though it was sometimes a ***** to find one that was NOT metallic pink or bright red.
My only problem is that huge headstock, which always makes me worry I'll break the tip off of (or even worst).

BC Rich.. hmmm..
Well, 'back in the day.. I had an import NJ Mockingbird, circa 1983 or 84.. that was a great axe..
I remember trying an NJ Virgin about 2 years ago that I liked.
However I owned an NJ Beast around the same time.
I had it for about 3 months.. one of the worst guitars I have ever had, period.
Soo.. I guess I don't quite trust the imports.

Re: B.C. Rich guitars.
I used to work for them during the Class Axe (more commonly referred to as the "Ass Axe") period.
My opinions on BCR's are the original 80's neckthrus are really the best BCR's in existance.
Even the new Handmades don't hold a candle to the quality and feel of the originals (IMO)

Re: B.C. Rich guitars.
BC Rich............hmmmmmmmmm. Well, I have played and owned some great ones and played some bad ones. I think the current NJ Series axes suck. I can't stand the Widow head stock. Another thing, what the hell is this chesswood crap. All that aside, I know the NJ Series better than the USA or Custom Shop stuff. I currently have an NJ Series Warlock from the mid to late 90's with the alder body and pointy headstock with the 6 in line tuners. I used to have a Class Axe era custom Warlock. It had a mahogony body, maple neck with maple fretboard, 22 frets, reverse pointy headstock, one EMG Select humbucker and a Floyd copy. The finish was killer. It was a black and blood red crackle finish. One of the best guitars I have ever owned until it warped on me. The warpage was my fault. My current BC Rich NJ Warlock is good, but not as good as the one I used to have. I wish BC Rich would dump that ugly Widow headstock, drop the speed loader bridge and give up the flame top crap already. If I could afford a USA or Custom Shop model........you bet I'd get one! I have alot of respect for BC Rich from back in the old days. I just hope BC Rich can redeem themselves in the quality import arena.
