Re: BC Rich Experts

It's not an import. "Made in USA" clearly on the headstock with an unfinished Jackson-like neck. It's all pretty high quality stuff except for the BC Rich Floyd knockoff. Not for sale, just curious what year it was made. I'm in Oklahoma.

Nah, it's not a mutt. It's exceptionally clean and well taken care of. It's USA just not sure if Class Axe or mid 90's Bernie.

Greg,

Does it have the kind of Trem bar where you need an allen key to tighten it in?

Also, a closeup of the trem route would be most helpful.

Greg,

Go the BC Rich board and contact Tim Keyes.. he will be at least able to tell you whether it was Pre Class Axe, Class Axe, or Post.

Re: BC Rich Experts

hey greg, I suspect it may be pre-class axe.
this is based off of my gunslinger, that looks simlar to your Warlock (headstock and plate anyways),

late 80's white gunslinger,
Seymour Duncan JB
500K vol. pot
unfinished jackson-like neck
Made in USA
Reverse headstock
No TM on the headstock
LA California Plate
ser.#= BC22550
Extremely good condition
all quality parts except for the Licensed by Floyd rose Trem.

this is the screw-in to tighten bar, no allen wrenches. you just have a cooler, longer bar than I do, haha.

yeah guys, help a brother out! I might learn more about my 'Slinger from this too!

Greg,

I'm almost positive the is not a class axe and was made mid 90's after Bernie Reaquired. I pretty sure the moderator of the BC rich board can give you exact date.

I'll have a Gunslinger arriving soon that is also fitting into this catagory. US Made, BC13009 serial, snakeskin graphic. I'll have pics of it probably by the end of the month.

Have we reached a consensus on how to identify pre, post and class axe guitars?
Bump if not.

I think we are in total confusion now with some people saying pre-Class Axe, some saying Class Axe and some saying post-Class Axe.

Mine is the same as Seventh Avenged and Charvelguys's guitars. Looks like all 3 were made about the same time.
