Hey, it looks good. I've got no regrets with my RG1527. It is a great guitar. Just put a Cutom/Jazz combo in it. that was a lot of work but it sounds fucking awesome. The Jazz is the best neck pickup I have ever played. Anyhoo, don't listen to the guys who will give you a hard time. If it feels and sounds good, play the hell out of it. Of course, it Jackson made a comprable 7-string I would have given it a fair shake.

I feel my soul go cold... only the dead are smiling.
Nothing wrong with the Japanese-made Ibanez guitars. And the used 7-strings seem to sell for reasonable prices, thereby negating the biggest complaint about new Ibanez instruments. Apart from Carvin, or a custom-shop Jackson, there really aren't many decent alternatives to the 7620 in the 7-string world, are there? The Universe is much the same, just horribly overpriced. And most other manufacturers have gotten out of the 7-string business, with the ESP LTDs never being that great, and the Schecters seemingly hard to find now.
I've got an RG 7420, Japan made, pretty good guitar, very very comfortable, my only complain it's that the Ibanez V8-7 and V7-7 and damn too muddy, but overall it's a good guitar, wish i had a jackson sl-2 though, but since the prices has risen up...
