I hear you. It is definitely a Gibson. If an Ephiphone shows up it will go right back. Besides, that would open them up to HUGE law suits. You can't do that. The pictures clearly show a GIBSON '67 V in ebony. I can't believe it even comes with a case, no tax, and shipped at that price.

I`m going tpo order one!! They do say they are not responsible with typing errors or pricing errors, that makes me a little nervous, but hopefully it works out, I just wish the pickups were rear loaded, but for that price, I can`t complain [img]graemlins/band.gif[/img] Jack.

Don't call and ask them about the price and you should be fine. I don't think it is a typo. MF sells is for $1049. I could see if it were listed for $104 or something, but it seems that they came up with this price somehow. I still wouldn't call them on it though. Just hope you get it...that is what I am doing.

I almost did that [img]images/icons/shocked.gif[/img] I ordered one about 15 minutes ago, I hope they aren`t just selling off like 2 that wwere returnd [img]images/icons/frown.gif[/img] I have seen this before and many people got turned away, saying none more were available. I remember when MF sold off their Gothic Explorer and V, they went very fast at $499 with case!! Man, I hope I get what they are advertising, even if it is a slight blem or return, as long as it works and plays nice and stay in tune, after a setup of course [img]images/icons/grin.gif[/img] P.S. I didn`t call them, just in case [img]graemlins/headbang.gif[/img] Jack.

No matter, they contacted me and cancelled the orders anyway due to an error on their webguys behalf. The guy that called me told me that they normally receive 30 orders a day total and recieved 90 for this guitar alone and they only had one anyway.

do they not have to honor the orders?
i remember a couple years a go a very large PC parts warehouse put a very expensive monitor on sale for like $149. they tried to cancel the orders but had to honor them. i don't remember if they just changed their minds or were forced to by local courts. being a big money grubbing soulless corporation i imagine they were forced.
