old bc rich warlock basses (plat ser.)

Does anyone have an old BC Rich platinum series warlock bass?

I've seen many metal bands with that bass. They go for under $200 on ebay usually. It seems everyone has one... are they super killer or something? Am i missing out on the best metal bass ever???? HUH??? HUH????? [img]graemlins/scratchhead.gif[/img]

I think there are a few reasons why you see a bunch of old metal bands with them:

1) Alot of underground metal bands can't afford a 1000 dollar bass.

2) They are (i'de assume) cheap / okay built.

3) They have the "metal" look.

I have had one in the past. I liked mine, but I honestly only bought it because it was cheap. For a cheap bass, it was good. Sounded good, looked good played good. But compared to some more expensive stuff, it wasn't nearly as good.
